The objective of this program is to support the UD mission by providing financial support to incoming freshmen and existing UD undergrad students who meet the Financial Aid guidelines. The Alumni Relations Office at University of Dubai, which launched the Friends of the University of Dubai Scholarship Funds (AFUDSF) Program back in 2013 in cooperation with the UD Alumni Association Board and led a series of prominent successful fundraising initiatives, is very determined to serve this cause and encourage UD alumni and philanthropists to continue helping students and graduates who are struggling with their study tuitions.

Under the umbrella of TDRA for UAE nationals to study Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in Communication, Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Master of Science in Data Science and Cyber Security.

Current UD students with a CGPA of ≥ 3.60 at the end of the term: 20% discount for one semester (condition: ≥ 3.60 CGPA). New students with 95% or above high school score: 50% discount for full program (condition: Maintain a CGPA of 3.5 or above to continue receiving the discount). Graduates are entitled to a 20% discount on tuition fees. Students scoring 85% or above are entitled to a different scheme as shown below. University of Dubai offers a partial merit based scholarship of 50% on tuition fees for students with an outstanding achievement in their high school scoring 95% and above or equivalent. Applicants who have completed their high school outside UAE are granted a partial scholarship.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Full Scholarship annually, granting the opportunity for three students from any nationality to pursue their studies in any of the three colleges: Dubai Business School, Engineering & IT, or Law. On undergraduate programs for students with high school score of 95% and above.
