The purpose of the Chancellor's Fellowship is to attract excellent students by providing them financial assistance in their pursuit of higher education. Chancellor's Fellowship depends on the availability of budget and is primarily provided to students in STEM and strategic areas of the country (renewable energy, transportation, health, water resources, technology, space). This Fellowship award does not apply to Education programs, Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Professional Accounting (MPA).
This competitive scholarship aims to support academic and scientific excellence and is awarded to new students with outstanding academic performance, providing a full tuition waiver. Eligibility conditions include achieving a minimum of 98% in the General Secondary School Certificate (Grade 12) or its equivalent, fulfilling all general admission requirements and specific qualifications of the intended college/academic program, demonstrating English proficiency through approved tests (TOEFL ITP: 590, TOEFL IBT: 105, TOEFL CPT: 233, Academic IELTS: 7.5), and demonstrating mathematics proficiency for all colleges (except College of Business and Economics, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Education, and College of Law) by obtaining specific scores (SAT-MATH: 730, ACT-MATH: 32). For the College of Law only, Arabic proficiency is required with a minimum score of 6.5 in the Al Ain Arabic Language Test. Scholarship continuation conditions include maintaining a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.8, registering for a minimum of 15 credit hours per regular semester, not holding another scholarship, and adhering to the normal semesters required for graduation. Any change in the academic program, major, or study load may affect the scholarship. The university reserves the right to revoke the scholarship for academic or behavioral violations.
