Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to:

Appraise various information technologies, as well as analytical models and methods, through advanced and specialized knowledge
Select descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical models, methods, and tools
Apply analytical methods, including statistics, data analytics, and optimization
Develop innovative research-driven solutions for discovering actionable insights
Communicate effectively to specialized and non-specialized audiences, verbally, visually, and in writing
Execute business analytics activities and projects with autonomy, entrepreneurship, and leadership
Conduct business analytics activities and projects as an effective and collaborative team member

Program Requirements

Minimum 30 credit hours required
Core Courses (18 hours): BANA520, BANA540, BANA560, BANA600, STAT520, STAT555
Projects/Capstones (3-6 hours): Either BANA690 (3 hours) OR BANA691 and BANA692 (6 hours combined)
Electives (6-9 hours): 9 credits if taking Analytics Project; 6 credits if taking Capstone Project
Optional Bridging Course: STAT501 (0 credits) for students without undergraduate statistics background
