Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to:

Analyze complex problems and apply computing and other relevant disciplines to derive efficient data-science and AI solutions
Demonstrate the ability to combine computational and algorithmic thinking, with machine learning and mathematical optimization
Communicate and present effectively findings and analytical outcome, using data visualization tools
Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in data-science, AI, computing practices
Demonstrate professionalism, organizational skills, and leadership, as a member or leader of a team
Apply effectively computing and data-science and AI theory, methodologies, techniques and tools throughout the data analysis lifecycle

Program Requirements

Minimum 120 credit hours
General Education: 21 credit hours
Major Required Courses: 54 credit hours
Internship: 6 credit hours (conducted in final semester; no concurrent course registration allowed)
Advanced Computing Thinking - Compulsory: 15 credit hours
Specialization Electives: 9 credit hours (three courses from provided list, e.g. Computer Vision, Advanced Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Robotics and Intelligent Systems, Data Visualization)
Supporting Requirements: 15 credit hours (6 from Group 1; 9 from Group 2 electives)
