Academic Requirements

High School Students:
UAE Secondary School Certificate: Elite Track – 75% Advanced Track –75% General Track – 85%
A Level (British Curriculum): A minimum grade of C at A level A minimum of six IGCSE/GCSE subjects are required, of which three should be science subjects IGCSE/GCSE science subjects must have a minimum grade of C or 4
American Diploma: Overall average of 75 % or a cGPA of 3 .0 on a scale of 4 or equivalent An average of 75 % in at least three science subjects (e.g., biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry)
IB Diploma: 24 points, excluding any bonus points Must complete three science subjects of which one of the Science subjects should be at High Level (grade 4)
CBSE/ICSE (Indian Curriculum): Overall average of 65% An average of 65% in three science subjects *For ICSE applicants, grades of all completed courses will be included in the Average calculation.

SABIS: Overall Average 65% An average of 65 % in the top three science subjects

Registered Nurses (RN-BSN):

Nursing Education: Attested Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing with a minimum duration of two years from an accredited School of Nursing with 70% aggregate or its equivalent in cGPA.

Clinical Experience: Valid nursing license to practice nursing in the country of residence. Minimum 2 years clinical experience if applicable

Second Degree (Non-Nursing) Bachelor’s Degree:

Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing discipline from an accredited institution. Minimum cGPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent in the previous degree. Applicants from other countries would need to apply for ECE (credential evaluation) for CGPA consideration.

Personal Statement or Essay: A written statement explaining the candidate’s motivation for pursuing a second-degree BSN, career goals, and how their background aligns with nursing.

English Proficiency:

‘IELTS Indicator’ will not be considered for admission purposes

A single certificate to be submitted, combined scores are not accepted

Must have been taken within the last two years

IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted

Note: Native English speakers are exempt from the English proficiency requirement if the language of instruction for their high school studies was English.

Undergraduate Degree Certificate. A notarized English translation of documents originally in a language other than Arabic or English is required.

Internship Certificate. If the certificate is not yet available, please upload a letter from the institution confirming your enrollment and the expected date of completion. The completion date must be prior to the beginning of the academic year.
