Physiotherapy (also known as Physical Therapy) is a healthcare profession focused on the prevention, assessment, treatment, and management of movement disorders and functional limitations. Physiotherapists are healthcare professionals who evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals across the lifespan from newborns to older adults who experience medical conditions, injuries, or health-related impairments that affect movement and daily functioning.

Academic Requirements

High school completion (minimum 12 years education)
English proficiency via test scores or high school transcript
Minimum aggregate score equivalent to UAE 65% in Grade 12
Non-UAE students need WES equivalency evaluation
Equivalency certificate from UAE Ministry of Education required
Three science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics)
Remedial coursework if science subjects lacking
Foundation program required if missing two+ science subjects
Admission committee interview mandatory
