Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to:

Incorporate the knowledge from foundational and clinical sciences with advanced physical therapy practice.
Evaluate the patient information appropriate in physical therapy practice and derive a detail problem list and precise diagnosis.
Execute advanced physical therapy protocols in the delivery of care and justify them based on evidence-based practice.
Undertake physical therapy practice as demanded of a member of the rehabilitation team on complex clinical cases.
Undertake research investigations on problems requiring research analysis and communicate the conclusions or solutions in the most pertinent format.
Undertake practice of the physical therapy profession incorporating ethical learning, standard practice, ideal approach and desirable attitude.

Academic Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Physical therapy from an accredited University in the UAE or equivalent one from outside the UAE.
Distinct undergraduate performance of cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0-point scale, or equivalent grade (“B”) A CGPA less than 3.0 may be admitted conditionally provided that the student registers 6-9 credits hours in the first semester of his/her studies and obtains a “B” average or above.
A Valid license issued to practice Physiotherapy from MoH / DHA / DOH is preferable
Applicant must complete English proficiency requirement as stated under the general admissions requirements as follows- Applicant who has completed his/her undergraduate education in English medium of Instruction shall submit the letter of evidence
International applicant with medium of instruction in native language must clear the English language proficiency test such as TOEFL, IELTS Academic. A minimum score of 550 TOEFL (213 CBT, 79 iBT), 6.0 IELTS Academic.
