Overview

Organized by the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the symposium was attended by healthcare professionals from across the country. As part of the efforts to address the most important issues related to the application of evidence-based medicine and developing clinical practice guidelines, the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University (GMU) – Ajman in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi conducted the ‘Symposium on Evidence-Based Clinical Practice’ at Dusit Thani Hotel, Dubai, on 5th May, 2018. Renowned academicians and leading practitioners delivered talks on the various aspects of evidence-based practice. The symposium provided an opportunity to discuss developments in evidence-based practice and developing clinical practice guidelines, for improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare in the country. Doctors and academicians also shared their experiences and educated the participants about the steps needed to advance the work on evidence-based clinical practice.
