Overview

Engineering management is the art and science of planning, organizing, allocating resources, and directing and controlling activities which have a technological or systems component. Engineers whose job requires them to complete projects on time and on schedule, work in teams, and assume management or leadership duties must solve complex problems that require expertise and training in these principles. To promote the practice of engineering management and to provide general standards for best practices, ASEM provides two certification options: individual professional certification and graduate degree certification. These certifications provide valuable opportunities for professionals to validate and enhance their skills in engineering management and process improvement, aligning with BUiD’s commitment to fostering excellence in technical and managerial competencies.
